Global Survey of City Leaders

The GSCL is the first globally representative sample of local government executive leaders. The survey examines how city leaders perceive urban challenges and opportunities as well as their priorities for future action across geographic regions, city population sizes, and different national levels of urbanization and development.

The Global Survey of City Leaders is directed by Victoria A. Beard, Professor and Associate Dean of Research Initiatives at Cornell University's College of Architecture, Art, and Planning and Director of the Center for Cities
