The financialization of housing transforms the quotidian spaces of dwelling into liquid and commodified assets traded among global actors. The Housing + Property Lab examines the effects that global investment in housing is having on local neighborhoods and households' access to affordable, secure, and stable housing.

The Housing + Property Lab is directed by Suzanne Lanyi Charles,
Associate Professor at Cornell University's College of Architecture, Art, and Planning and acting chair of the Rubacha Department of real estate.
