Collaborate with Us

The Legal Constructs Lab welcomes inquiries from prospective collaborators, student researchers, and funders.

Institutional Research Collaborators

We work with representatives of state and local governments, leaders of nonprofit organizations, researchers from think tanks and other universities, and select private partners on the National Zoning Atlas and other projects.  If you think we should work together, please email Professor Bronin, Director of the Legal Constructs Lab, with your ideas.

Student Researchers

Are you a law student or graduate student in planning, architecture, geography, economics, or computer science interested in joining the Lab? Joining means:

  • Actively participating in research, often with interdisciplinary teams

  • Adhering to the highest standards of academic integrity, while contributing to our Lab's culture of curiosity, collegiality, and inclusion

  • Contributing positively to academic and public debate about the issues explored by the Lab, as opportunities arise

  • Taking initiative and responsibility for meetings, deadlines, and other practicalities necessary for a successfully functioning Lab

If that sounds appealing, please email Professor Bronin with a CV and statement of interest, including your basic and applied research interests, specific current research projects you're interested in, and your post-graduation aspirations (if known). If we have a relevant research opportunity, we will be in touch. (Please note that PhD candidates must apply to AAP through the general admissions process, not through this Lab.)

Funders

We're happy to connect with foundations, private entities, and individuals who wish to support the research being conducted by the Legal Constructs Lab.  Donate here or reach out to Professor Bronin directly.
