Community Wellbeing

Community wellbeing, or “buen vivir,” is a concept that encompasses economic, environmental and cultural well being with attention to the power of active citizenship.  Prof. Warner’s collaborated with FLACSO - Facultad de Ciencias Sociales in Ecuador on this project which used collaborative ethnography to explore how the concept of “buen vivir” was used to create the “buen lugar”, the good place in a rural community in Ecuador.
