Zijing Zhao
Ph.D. Student
Zijing Zhao is a Ph.D. Student whose research focuses broadly on equity planning and multi-level governance, especially how local governments respond to the social and economic challenges. Along with Professor Warner, their work evaluating how local governments pursue equity in their American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) plan has been published on Journal of American Planning Association. Her prior work includes projects investigating state-rescaling and inter-municipal cooperation in promoting regional development in China. Before joining Cornell, Zijing Zhao holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Zhejiang University.
