Shifaa Alsadah, Andrés Castelo Rebeil, Julia Spande & Qianchen Yu

This project focuses on enhancing age-friendly active transportation in Tompkins County. It uses a multi-faceted approach that includes crash data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and policy reviews. Key interventions include immediate action planning, physical interventions, and behavior modifications. The project's goal is to improve mobility and safety for all ages, with a particular focus on accommodating the needs of older adults and children. This involves creating more inclusive and accessible transportation options, enhancing pedestrian and cyclist safety, and fostering community involvement in transportation planning.
