Andrew Boghossian

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE - Architecture

Andrew Boghossian is a Bachelor of Architecture student at Cornell AAP. Andrew has worked with deconstruction contractors and resale centers in the physical act of disassembling a building and processing building materials for reuse. While at Cornell, he has worked with interdisciplinary, student-led project teams to assist in policy work and building energy use analysis for the Ithaca Green New Deal. Boghossian currently works in the Circular Construction Lab as a part-time research assistant developing documentation tools to help the city of Ithaca, local developers, architects, and contractors adopt deconstruction. He is primarily investigating how to survey buildings for reusable materials, how to quantify such materials, and how to document materials effectively for the necessary large-scale adoption of deconstruction by built-environment professionals.
