Lauren Franco is a B.Arch student (‘25) at Cornell AAP and research assistant at CCL. She is focused on researching material reuse at various scales, among other topics. Previously, in the Cornell Robotic Construction Lab, Lauren worked on the development of free-form timber structures and co-created and authored TwistedLam (a robotic fabrication method for hyperbolic paraboloid glulam and clt blanks) (CAADRIA 2023). Her interests also lie at the intersections of architecture, computer science, and knit textile design.
