Roma Patel is a first-year student at Cornell AAP majoring in Urban and Regional Studies with an intent to minor in Architecture, Business, and Inequality Studies. She is passionate about remedying housing disparities and making affordable housing more livable and equitable. She is specifically interested in the policy surrounding housing and how the layout of cities can impact those who rely on affordable housing. She joins the Circular Construction Lab as Rawlings Cornell Presidential Research Scholar.
