Ayushi Toraskar is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design, with a focus on Architecture + Ecology, striving to integrate architectural innovation with environmental responsibility. Her interests lie in exploring the intersection of architecture, environment, and technology, driven by the urgent challenges posed by climate change. Ayushi is particularly passionate about integrating novel building technologies with architectural practices to create sustainable, high-performance built environments. She is especially interested in exploring methods for reusing and recycling wood materials, developing strategies for disassembling buildings to repurpose components, and designing structures that consider their entire lifecycle. Ayushi draws inspiration from the research conducted at the Circular Construction Lab and is eager to collaborate
with its team to deepen her understanding of sustainable design and contribute meaningfully to ongoing research.
