Barbara Lambec
Visiting PhD candidate - Engineering, Preservation
Barbara is a PhD student in architecture and engineering at the EPFL (Structural eXploration Laboratory at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland) and a visiting scholar at the Circular Construction Lab. Her work is driven by a passion for banal architecture and its necessary ingenuity linked to an economy of means. Her dissertation research focuses on evaluating the reuse potential of architectural components in the Swiss building stock. Within CCL she is studying applied cases of reuse in the United States through stakeholder interviews and field work.
