Adaptive Land Lab

Yunzhi (Melody) Zheng is a first-year Master of Regional Planning student at Cornell University. She holds a bachelor's degree in Urban and Rural Planning from Tongji University. Her research interests include climate adaptation, housing and land governance, spatial inequality, and GIS and data analysis.

Her current research with the Adaptive Land Lab uses AI-assisted computational methods and large-scale text analysis to process and analyze policy and governance documents related to common-interest developments, including homeowner associations and condominiums. Prior to Cornell, she worked on research using large-scale spatial and computational methods to study land market reform, migrant settlement, delivery riders, and urban accessibility in China.
