Jeeya Savani

M.S. AAD CORNELL AAP - Architecture

Jeeya Savani is an architectural designer and researcher who is working towards discovering a new realisation for architecture as a practice. With Nature, Culture and Architecture at her core, she is discovering ways into connecting the three with technology. Her work largely revolves around her ideals to continue to remain Future Friendly. She is interested in concepts of circular economy and is often finding a voice through visualising speculative dystopian narratives to design for the issues of waste appropriation, future of biomaterials in construction and the strengths of practicing an experimental approach to architecture.
Jeeya holds a Bachelor of Architecture from NMIMS Balwant Sheth School of Architecture, Mumbai and is pursuing her post-professional degree in M.S in Advanced Architectural Design from Cornell University. She is also a visiting faculty at NMIMS BSSA, Mumbai and has worked on projects across multiple cities in India. Savani currently works in the Circular Construction Lab and The Regenerative Architecture Lab as a Research Assistant.
