Idil Derman is a third-year B.Arch student at Cornell AAP whose research focuses on the potential of bio-degradable materials through circular construction methods.
Within the Circular Construction Lab, she is investigating the development of new technologies and architectural lexicon that combines local urban and rural waste streams with fungal mycelium.
