Brenda Bai
M. ARCH CORNELL AAP - ARCHITECTURE
Brenda (Xue) Bai is currently a third-year M.Arch student at Cornell AAP. She is a LEED AP BD+C and holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Architectural Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Her research interests are situated at the intersection of architecture, biology, material science, and engineering, focusing on living materials and bio-fabrication. She promotes bridging the gap between nano and macro, lab-scale and real-world applications, to develop sustainable and biodegradable building materials. She works in the Regenerative Architecture Lab as a research assistant on healthy materials.
