Adaptive Land Lab

Travis is a second-year Master of Regional Planning student at Cornell University. He earned his bachelor's degree in Public Affairs from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with an emphasis in Urban and Regional Planning. Travis’s interests include climate adaptation, housing, spatial inequality, and non-market land and property governance institutions.

His current research with the Adaptive Land Lab is focused on the lessons that climate impacted cities can take from de-industrialized shrinking cities. Specifically regarding how climate impacted cities can cope with future climate-induced population loss and managing vacant and abandoned land.
