Mariam Fatima

Graduate Student Researcher

Mariam is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the Just Places Lab and a Masters of Regional Planning student at Cornell University. Her background is in architecture and she has worked on small to large scale designs including the winning proposal of Mardan Sports Complex for women. During her experience, she worked with the Director General of Frontier Works Organisation, the largest construction unit of Pakistan, to create strategies and visualisations for the 5 million housing project initiated by the Prime Minister Imran Khan. Her academic interests lie in Gender Equality, International Development, Real Estate and Infrastructure Policy, Management and Finance.     

In her free time, you can find Mariam drawing/sketching or playing tennis or badminton.
