Kanischa is a first-year Urban and Regional Studies student at Cornell University. She is a non-traditional student from Syracuse, New York whose 14 year professional background spans healthcare, philanthropy, and Military service. Her research interests include community education, participatory development, and adaptive reuse and preservation.
