Nikhil Mathew is an urban planner and researcher with an interdisciplinary background spanning urban planning, sociology, and social anthropology. His work focuses on community-engaged planning, urban design, mobility, spatial equity, and public-space development. He has worked on planning and research projects across the United States and India, including community development, accessible transit infrastructure, urban parks, corridor revitalization, and coastal communities. Nikhil combines participatory and ethnographic research with GIS, spatial analysis, and design tools to develop equitable, community-centered approaches to urban planning.
