UnFrame is an augmented reality (AR) exhibition on methods of timber framing in the Northeastern part of North America. the exhibition displayed a full-scale Hodinǫ̱hsǫ́:nih longhouse, a full-scale platform framed house, and virtual reality trees for noval bending-active methods of timber construction. On view during the 2022 Cornell Biennial, the accessible outdoor public exhibition invited users to explore and interact with each of these three distinct domestic timber construction methods through interactive AR architectural details and exhibition panels.
