Bamboo in Mix-reality Construction

This course seeks to investigate novel sustainable building practices by coupling augmented reality (AR) technologies with bamboo as a building material. Material and design explorations will explore mixed-reality protocols that can be deployed by local labor and communities within a low-tech setting. Thus, radically transforming how we can urbanize and construct our future urban and rural environments and to create much-needed innovations in mass-customized construction methods.
