Yue Lin is a B.Arch.'25 candidate at Cornell AAP. She is also pursuing a minor in Performing and Media Art with the Cornell College of Arts and Sciences. Within the field of architecture, Yue has a particular focus on housing design aimed at creating spaces that prioritize residents' comfort through thoughtful circulation and the use of sustainable materials. Her commitment to exploring sustainable materials led her to undertake an internship dedicated to studying timber as a structural and interior finishing material, involving hands-on experience with a local carpentry team. As an member of Cornell NOMAS, Yue participated in the 2022 Fall NOMAS competition, contributing to a second-place win. The competition centered on the design of a memorial bridge and cultural center in North Nashville, Tennessee. Beyond her academic pursuits, Yue is also engaged in product design, graphic design, and stage design.
