Zachary Stephens

B.Arch.'27 | Cornell Architecture

Zachary is a 5th-year architecture student at Cornell AAP. He is interested in participatory framings of architecture as a means to enable unheard voices. Recent work includes design and writing, such as the Université de Montréal’s Invisible Accessibility competition (2025), which placed 2nd, and Infravision Think-Tank’s Infrastructure as Systems competition (2026). He draws inspiration from local news, working as a cover designer for the Ithaca Times and writing guest opinions for outlets such as the Cornell Daily Sun to advocate for disability representation in school and practice. In the future, he hopes to teach and research how to expand our individual and collective agency as tenants of architecture.
