Chi Zhang is an MRP student at Cornell University. Prior to his graduate studies, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell's Urban and Regional Studies program and practiced in Beijing after graduation. He comes from a rapidly growing mid-sized city in Eastern China, and witnessing its development led him to become interested in urban and regional development issues.
His current research interests include urban governance, urban regeneration, and especially policy and development strategies for cities in decline.
