Medha Kulkarni

Graduate Research Assistant / Master in Regional Planning student

Medha is a Master of Regional Planning student at Cornell University. She is an architect, originally from India, with work experience in landscape, urban and architectural design. Having done research in core cities and urban renewal in India, her interests lie in community development, slum redevelopment, informal housing and sustainability and resiliency in marginalized communities.

In the Just Places Lab, Medha is a Graduate Research Assistant, contributing to the Wasted Imagination Project and Embodied Carbon and Embodied Justice Research Project. As an architect and planning student, the concept of 'Justice', whether within the realm of buildings, communities, or the environment, resonates deeply with her.
